WHAT IS A HOME GROUP?

Each group consists of people coming together to study the Bible, pray, receive support and worship in an informal environment. The groups are open and anyone can join. Some people try different groups until they find the right one for them.

WHY DO PEOPLE JOIN HOME GROUPS WHEN THEY ALREADY ATTEND CHURCH ON SUNDAY?

People join to grow in faith and to enjoy fellowship with other Christians. In the secular society in which we live going to Home Group breaks up the week and nourishes our faith in an atmosphere of trust and respect.

HOW AND WHAT IS STUDIED?

The Bible is studied with the help of support material such as the Life Builder series. A book, passage of the Bible or theme is chosen by the group and studied in detail. Individuals have a chance to ask questions or seek explanations of parts of the study which may be difficult to understand. Our vicar is always willing to help with interpretations. The learning is applied to our daily lives and helps us to grow in our faith.

HOW DO I JOIN?
